Redbud Bicycle Rodeo FUN Festival

When: Saturday, April 30, 2011 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: Free!
Who: Children ages 10 and under

Parents or guardian to be present on the sidelines for each child. 
Parents need to bring their children’s bicycles and helmets.

Where: Cookeville Farmer’s Market
Activities and Goals:
To learn safe bicycling, children in the beginning steps of bicycling will learn at their level:

• The importance of weraring a helmet
• Starting and stopping
• Turning and signaling
• Transition from training wheels to two wheels
• Maneubering through obstacle courses
• The rules of bicycling on trails/roads

Volunteer Staff
Experienced adult cyclists in the community, cycling clubs, individual volunteers
