2011 Highlands Redbud Celebration Kickoff Review

This year's kickoff will be held at Art a la carte, located at 121 W. Broad Street in Cookeville. It will be April 1 with a preview and a reception. The preview is from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the reception is from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free, and light refreshments will be served. This is the perfect opportunity to get familiar with the events taking place throughout the month. As part of the kickoff, there will be a ceremony at 6:30 p.m. for the tree poster winners, one from each of the four counties.

Also, be sure to pick up your FREE Redbud Rewards Card, giving you access to a number of discounts at businesses on the square and on the Westside. Grab one at the kickoff or anytime in the month of April. Get three businesses to mark your card, and bring it back to Art a la carte during normal business hours—Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.—before May 1 for a chance to win a grill donated by of Cookeville.
