Cookeville Redbud Circle of Parks Maps

The Redbud Circle of Parks Maps are a resource for those who want to spend an afternoon walking, bicycling or driving around the scenic streets of Cookeville. As you will find, Cookeville has many parks and historic landmarks.
Each route takes in several of Cookeville’s parks, including the garden like campus of Tennessee Tech University, as well as the historic West Side and Cookeville Depot and other points of historical and scenic interest.
BLUE ROUTE: 3 Mile Walnut-TTU-Depot-Dogwood-Walnut route, estimated walking time 1 hour 15 minutes
PURPLE ROUTE: 5 Mile Walnut-TTU-Depot-Dogwood-Cemetery-ParkView-EnsorSink-Walnut route, estimated walking time 2 hours
GREEN ROUTE: 8 Mile Walnut-Cinderella-TTU-Franklin-West End-Depot-Dogwood-Walnut route, estimated walking time 3 hours
RED ROUTE: 8.5 Mile Walnut-Ensor Sink-Capshaw-Cinderella-TTU-Franklin-West End-Depot-Dogwood-Walnut route, estimated walking time 3 hours 15 minutes
ORANGE ROUTE: 13.5 Mile Walnut-Ensor-Capshaw-Cinderella-TTU-Franklin-West End-Cane Creek-Parkview-Cemetery-Depot-Dogwood-Walnut route, estimated walking time 5 hours
Note: not every street on these routes has Redbuds yet. Creation of these routes is an opportunity for those who live along them to beautify their yards with Redbuds, flowers and other beautiful trees and things to make their streets as attractive as they like.
Note: that not every street has sidewalks and not every intersection has a marked or signal controlled cross walk. If you feel that these features need to be added to these routes to enhance your safety and enjoyment, please contact the Cookeville City Council and the office of the City Manager to make your feelings known. In this way, these routes can also provide the opportunity for the city government to make Cookeville more attractive and fun to walk around.
